Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using this site. Your use of this site is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of the following terms and conditions. By using this site, you signify your assent to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of the following terms and conditions, you must not use this site.

Your contract with us
Your contract with Splash Holiday, Nurdan Turizm Ltd. Sti. References to “we”, “us” and “our” are Nurdan Turizm Ltd. Sti., including where appropriate our employees, agents, independent contractors,
sub-contractors (including stevedores) and port authorities who shall all have the benefit of the defences and limitations provided by these Terms of Business.
Your contract with us shall take effect from the time that we confirm your booking with us by way of your booking reference. By making a booking with us, you accept that these Terms of Business apply both to you and to all persons on whose behalf the booking is also made and you thereby confirm that you have the necessary authority of such persons to do so on their behalf.

Your contract with us is governed by these Terms of Business to which all bookings made with us apply and to all legislation compulsorily applicable.

Fares are based on exchange rates at the time of booking. No refunds will be given as a result of any adjustment of fares arising from currency exchange rates. Should the rate of exchange vary or other costs increase then we reserve the right to increase prices including charges already invoiced or paid, so as to take account of such changes as may occur up to 7 days before departure. Payment of such increases may be required before traveling is allowed.

All products and services described in our websites (which are always subject to availability at the time of booking) are offered subject to our right to vary them if necessary. We reserve the right to alter prices and to provide a different accommodation for any particular booking where circumstances make this necessary.

All rates offered are available only to residents of the country in which they are issued.

Your contract with us is governed by Turkish law and the Turkish courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute with us.


Payment
When your booking is made, you must pay a non refundable 30% deposit at the time you make your reservation and you must pay the rest of your accommodation price to us at least 14 days before departure date. If you do not, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. The person making the reservation on www.splashholiday.com accepts responsibility for paying for all the people on the reservation. They are also responsible for keeping everyone in the party informed of the reservation details. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation with us. Payment may be made by major credit card using Mastercard, Visa or Diners Club. Payments can also be paid by Direct Debit into a UK bank account. If any payment is not made by the due date, we will be entitled to cancel your booking without notice to you.

Cancellation
You may cancel your booking or any part of it in writing at any time. The e-mail must be sent by the person who made the Booking. If the booking is cancelled up to 1 month of the departure date the 30% deposit will not be refundable, only the balance. If the booking is cancelled within 1 month of the departure date 50% of the cost will not be refundable. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the departure date all monies are non refundable.


In no circumstances can we make a refund in respect of accommodation bookings once part of the stay has been undertaken, cancellations made on or after the intended check in date, unused portions of reservations, amendments made within 24 hours of the booked accommodation check in.

No refunds can be made in respect of lost or stolen bookings, but on proof of purchase, we will supply replacement bookings.

We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.

Changes by You
If you want to make any changes to your booking after it has been confirmed e.g. departure date, hotel, person names, etc, you must tell us in writing, and we will try to help subject to availability. We will not charge any amendment fee; however, if any further costs are incurred in making the changes you will receive a notification and payment information from us. These costs could be higher the closer to departure date you request the change. If your contract is with us and you are unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to someone else, provided we are notified in writing at least 4 weeks prior to departure and the person you transfer your booking to fulfil any conditions applicable to the booking. No processing fee is payable; however, all other costs incurred by us as a result of the transfer will be due to us.

Please note that some arrangements cannot be changed after the contract is made. Any change request will incur a 100% cancellation charge. Any new arrangements will be treated as re-booking.

The person you transfer to must:
1. Sign a new Booking Form specifying the new person(s);
2. Comply with these terms and conditions.

Changes or Cancellation by Us
This clause only applies to contracts with us. If we are your Booking Agent, your contract with your suppliers may allow them to change or cancel bookings. Where this occurs we will ensure that you are promptly notified of any significant changes, but accept no liability for changes or costs incurred by our suppliers.

If your contract is with us, please note that the arrangements in our websites are planned many months in advance and we reserve the right to make changes or cancel a booking in any circumstances. We may, for example, have to cancel a particular booking in accommodation and will offer a similar standard or higher. We will not cancel your booking less than 2 weeks before departure except by reason of 'Force majeure' or failure by you to pay the cost.

If we need to make a major change to your booking, we will offer you the choice of:-
1. Accepting the changed arrangements as notified to you; or
2. Buying different arrangements from us of least the same standard, if available (and making or receiving a payment in respect of any price difference); or
3. Cancelling your booking and receiving a full and prompt refund of all monies paid to us. A major change is one made before departure involving a change of: accommodation to a lower category or situated in a different area for the whole or a major part of your planned stay there. All other changes will be treated as minor, including changes of accommodation. No compensation is payable for any changes. For major changes, we will cover any additional accommodation costs, unless the change is for reasons of 'Force majeure'. We do not accept responsibility for any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any change.

Force Majeure
We try to ensure that all arrangements we make are safe and operate fully and to time, but sometimes events happen which are beyond our or the supplier's control. We do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage or expense where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations in this contract is prevented or affected by reason of 'Force majeure'. 'Force majeure' means any event beyond our or the supplier's control which we or the supplier of the service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid, and includes war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, epidemics, technical problems with transport, severe weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, governmental action and all similar events.

Privacy
We will store and use the information you supply us or which is supplied to us 'your information' for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy. You will be/would have been asked to agree to our use at the appropriate time. If you do not agree we cannot accept your booking.

OTHER INFORMATION

VISA

It is an entry requirement that all UK citizens pay £10 entry visa on arrival at a Turkish airport/port. This is valid for a 90 day, multiple entry, period. Irish citizens also have to purchase a visa on arrival at the
cost of 15€.

PLUMBING

Turkish plumbing systems are slightly narrower than UK so toilet paper is placed in bins provided and not down the toilet.
Many Turkish sinks do not have plugs as the Muslim religion requires them to wash under running water. If you require a plug we recommend you bring on with you.

MOSQUITOS

Mosquitoes are quite prevalent in Turkey especially in resorts such as Dalyan that are near rivers. We recommend that you bring adequate insect repellent on your holiday.

RELIGION

Turkey is a predominately Muslim country and although very liberal it is recommended that when around public areas and mosques that woman dress appropriately i.e. covering arms and upper legs and if going into a mosque that they cover their head.
Some accommodations could be located close to mosques and if so you will hear the call to prayer 5 times a day. The first is sunrise and last is sunset.

DRINKS

Although alcohol in Turkey is a lot cheaper than the UK any brand name imported drink such as Bacardi and the like, can be extremely expensive so do check before ordering.


CHECK OUT

Along with the rest of the world the international check out time is 12 midday on the day of your departure. If you have a night flight you will still have to vacate your room at midday. Many accommodations will allow you to keep your room on where possible and will charge for this facility. If this isn’t required there is normally somewhere secure for your luggage and in some cases a courtesy room allowing you to freshen up before your departure.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Most self catering accommodations will provide the basic equipment for cooking. It isn’t the norm to be provided with ovens or microwaves although some higher quality accommodations have now included microwaves. Toilet paper is normally provided on the day of arrival and after that it is no longer included.

CLEANING

Most accommodations will clean your room on a daily basis and the bed linen will get changed twice a week. It is normally not allowed to take the hotel provided towels to the beach/pool. We recommend that you bring adequate beach towels for your stay.

BREAKAGES

If you damage/break anything within the accommodation it is very likely that the hotelier will ask you to pay for the repair/ replacement of said item.

ACCOMMODATION

All accommodations have different facilities but they all will be able to provide you with a safe deposit box, which we recommend you use, at a nominal weekly fee. Some accommodations will also charge for air-conditioning and we can find out that cost for you if you require.
